Yes, this “Doonesbury” is a rerun. Garry Trudeau is on hiatus, as he works on another project. New strips should return in September. So far, only a pilot has been produced for “Alpha House,” which was debuted online in April. Oh Boy, I’m probably going to get my head handed to me for this, but here goes.

I have to admire the way people in Egypt in the past year, have willingly gone into the streets and put their lives on the line for their beliefs. Can’t help but wonder if out constitutional rights in this country would be so eroded if we did the same.

Well said! The truth of your comment will probably be ignored in this PC spawning ground, but actual history has never been much of an impediment to a certain type of thinking.

The way the Egyption military pulled the Rope a Dope on Morsi, the Muslim Botherhood and their buddies Hamas, et al, and our backing of that move implicitly; should be enough to indicate that it is MORE than time to wax nostalgic about the Arab dictators who previously kept a lid on the Salifists.
