It wasn’t my fault. That bird came out of nowhere and attacked my car.

Hah! Reminds me of the time my father was zipping down the hwy in his Opel GT and was hit by an OWL! It was almost as big as his car,

B. Hinds: Owls have excellent eyesight. Did this owl accident happen in the daytime or at night? Did the owl die? Was your father hurt? One hears about deer-meets-car accidents, but this is the first I’ve heard about an owl hitting a car. I saw that YouTube video link. An Opel GT is a small car. Maybe the owl thought your father’s car was PREY!

We all know what a DEER CROSSING sign looks like… I wonder what an owl sign would look like.

It was very early in the morning. My parents lived outside of the city. It was on a long stretch of empty highway. The owl didn’t survive. I used to drive that car a lot. It was a HOOT! …er…I mean…it was a lot of fun.
