Lots of early Super-Heroes were “Pharma-Chemically” enhanced. It caused all kinds of problems when “Better Living Through Chemistry” turnede out to be NOT such a good idea.

That said, Chemical enhancement CAN be effective (Lance Armstrong, anyone?) but the costs later are too uncertain to allow for reasonable calculation. Individuals are just TOO different from each other. Someday, maybe, we’ll be able to tell ahead of time what will happen ‘later’ as a result of ‘Augmenting’ today. But not if current mores declare such research “Verboten!”

Sue, go as yourself. Maybe wear a nice, summer A-line dress that stops just above the knees. Go for classy, not trashy.

But Captain America strung out on his “Super Soldier Serum” will outrace them. You’re only familiar with the re-booted Blue Beetle by DC Comics who acquired rights, the original Fox Comics’ had pharmacist for a pal and took “Vitamin 2X” to get his powers.

Testosterone-analog drugs like anabolic steroids or Captain Ameria’s serum alter the body. Definitely they are drugs. I’m not taking any drugs, by the way.
