“It’s Just My Interpretation”or“Water Concept”or “Perceptive Bends”….

It’s so funny that each perceive it according to their own take… Delta with the sensible and positive and upbeat concept of Gunther, covering his eyes, head and the like, thinking that he chose things more…“hip” than others may give him credit for…-Bern, with the early 20th century thought, as if what he chooses would be “old fashioned”….=And then, there’s Knute… he’s already extreme in thought at times, and he thinks that whatever G-Man would have chosen, would be weird, though Knute is the one off the deep end….

Give it a rest, Knut. Expect for you, no one will be able to recognize Gunther like that.

Maybe this arc is almost over.

Namrepus’s wife here… just wanting to comment on a couple of yesterday’s comments. I don’t remember everybody’s names, please forgive me. ~I’m one of those females who’ve always had difficulty with finding clothes that fit. Too big here, too tight there- whether it was back as a thin teenager or now as a curvy 30-something year old. ~ I’m (mostly) happy with my body until I have to go clothes shopping, then I must admit, I tend to be like Bern and gripe and be a bit cranky. I’m proud of my curves, but it can be a bit frustrating to find pants that fit properly when one has a waist that’s smaller than one’s hips. lol

Well, at least we’ll get to see what Gunther chose……..

If his swim wear is in the bag he’s holding, it doesn’t look to be that large, just looking at the part he is holding.

. Perhaps they deemed Evans original work to be too explicit for the site.^Crazy situation, this! It’s like saying that John Fogerty has to be sued, cos he sounds too much like the former lead singer and guitarist of CCR, which was, of course…. John Fogerty, himself…. =Which was an absurd yet true case…

Thus, Gunther’s secretiveness led to numerous theories and even some wild speculation, by his friends in the strip and out….

Gunther’s new bathing suit is probably the adult version of a onesie….purple check top with long sleeves and with an attached black bottom with legs that reach the ankles.

He’ll feel really comfortable for once and try to put the arm on Tiff. Of course, Rosa will push him into the pool and he’ll immediately will have to put his street clothes back on. Surprisingly, they ll look identical to his bathing suit.

Interesting to think of how Bernice might perceive Gunther, given her own aversion to coverage.

Gunther, being a thinking man, is playing it right. He knows that he needs coverage (not wearing the mankini) because he anticipates what Rosa might wear.

Looks like Bernice gave him an extra buldg in her vision.

Wow, as a diver myself, I’d have to say that Knute has been watching way too many “Sea Hunt” or “Diver Dan” episodes! That type of gear is, pretty much, antiquated, these days, and used primarily by “commercial” divers.

Like I say, I nice .5mm – 3.0mm full wetsuit will work wonders. It will give Gunth that cool “surfer dude” look, and perhaps continue to give Bernice some “eye candy.”

Gunther may surprise them all.

Just to see what he might have found, I googled “one piece men’s swimsuit”. *I got hits for body-fitting triathalon suits and for wet suits. Both would give the G-man coverage while being uber-cool (fashion wise, they’d probably stifle him on land).

B&D aren’t holding shopping bags. Does this mean they didn’t buy anything, or that their suits were so small they stuffed them in their purses?

Remember Luann saw him in a state of “uncoverage.” You know, Free Willy style. ahem hem.

The thing that I don’t get is it’s an end of summer get together and none of them have swimsuits? Most people buy them at the beginning of summer….or leftovers from last year.

That’s certainly when the shows I mentioned aired. Sea Hunt from 1958-1961, Diver Dan in 1961. But both are still popular on cable and “streaming video” classic channels. I could see Knute watching it.

lol Actually, I used to have the name here of Namowtac- as she was my fave female in the DC universe. Tried awhile ago to make my own again, but for some reason it wouldn’t go through. Suppose it’s time to try it again. lol

Don’t recall saying he liked it. He tried to avoid Luann, but she tracked him down. She may have wanted another performance. He might give her and all the other party goers a treat and go all natural. There’s no such thing as “good” ©rap music

reat idea!! Swim-Suit-In-A-Spray-Can! … raises an interesting question: what is sufficient “coverage” to pass local laws on indecent exposure. Does it have to be cloth based? What about a spray flocking type material?^^Most women’s swim suits already look sprayed on

@Brdshtt and Leviticus, The disappearing photos was probably caused by the censor getting overzealous in protecting bandwidth. They suddenly took down ALL photos (even many custom that folks had worked on) while we were throwing a Birthday party on one of the strips for a fellow commenter. Now one of our best and most prolific artists is reluctant to bother with more work.

I’ve been shopping for my tall, skinny teenage son this week. The trip proved beyond a doubt that young men’s fashion is a nightmare too.

but my choice was based on today’s second panel.^Same here, I had the song running through my mind, hence the “Just My Interpretation”, and then the 10cc Album “Deceptive Bends” for “Perceptive Bends”…. that album cover, literally iconic!…

Looking back on today’s (the 24th) comic, Bernice must have Finally purchased a swimsuit! I am looking forward to seeing what swimsuit she chose…and also to see what poor Gunther chose…I think Delta’s thought about his “swimsuit” fits him best…but I think he might have chosen a short-sleeved shirt instead of a long-sleeved shirt…his way of being “racy”… ;)

With some charleston music, Bernice’s choice would be perfect.
