My god this woman is tiring.

And peevers (especially peevers about peeving) get hoist… my previous comment lost an ‘o’! Two ’to’s and one of them should have been ‘too’ too!!

I have an issue with the fact that if she’s been correcting people like Joe for what I would assume his whole life don’t you think he would speak better in the first place, especially around her?

I’ve been wondering if Mr. Armstrong has based Mrs. Cobb on someone he knows. His mother, perhaps?

A little too precise. She’s the kind of person who if you said “Can I give you a million dollars?” She’ll respond by saying “No it’s ‘may’ I give you a million dollars?”

She missed the tense shift. :O

On another note, why is Teddy so pale? He looks kinda sick!!!

Does no one use colloquial English in this strip? Must it always be painfully correct? Split an infinitive, already!

She reminds me of my fourth grade teacher. If we made a grammatical mistake, she interrupted us to give us a black construction paper tag to wear until another child made a grammatical mistake.

I would have said, “Out of nowhere came three other suspects on our list.” (Do I have to wear the black tag?)

Joe, if you have proper grammar, you’ll be in agreement with your mother. See? Easy!

Grammar (I wanted to use “…mer” instead of what Spell Check…and Grandma… come up with!). Grammar\Grammer gives me a headache just like Charlie B****… Has anyone seen a dangling participle lately?… ;)
