I was thinking of writing a biography of my auto – but it got too confusing – plus he wanted to write it himself.

capndunzzl: Yeah, especially today when a publisher won’t talk to you about a third edition of a book that sold well, including two book club selections. It passed the first reader the first time under the old system. Why should I pay an agent to do that for me, because they are too cheap to do it again themselves? I did it twice, why can’t I the third time? It is a how to (camping) and the first two are out of print and getting somewhat out of date (early ’60s and late ’70s).
