Got this in my email this morning, with a ridiculous message trying to suggest that taking away free daily emails, and replacing it with a pro account free for six months and then paid-for, is a GOOD thing. Evidently GoComics think they’re readers are idiots. Very, very disappointed.

It’s traditional to think of Washington as a great general, who disliked politics.The truth is that he was a very bad general, but an extremely skilled politician.

Make George read Arlo and Janis and he will change his mind.

So what does George know? Aside from being dead for hundreds of years, he wasn’t known for his humor. And puerile Pastis puns are more often funny than some other ENTIRE comic strips.

Okay, I was mistaken about George, but at least I’m not as confused as some of the posters here about PBS and PB4S.

While he’s not the least talented cartoonist I’ve seen, his puns are so bad they could be used as an alternative to waterboarding and the death penality.
