I have heard too much against our American schools. Please don’t make it worse. Many of us understand English grammar and some don’t.Danglais is pointing out grammatical differences between languages in an ….awkward, rather ‘Troll-ish’ way.
I have grown accustomed to baby spinach because it tastes as good and is more prevalent. The same can NOT be said of the HORRID whispy sprout that is sold as hydroponic watercress; It has very little flavor and no crunch. I buy the real stuff when I can and chop the stems (with a little leaves), mix with Greek yogurt to eat.
And have it with good sturgeon caviar when possible. I eat spinach with breakfast nearly every day.
