I’ve always liked ‘Frog Applause’. What else would you want to call it?

I can’t think of it as anything other than Frog Applause. I’ve spent months doing riffs on the frog theme, after all :-)

For me, it’s that I’m always blinded by the fireworks. The love may or may not come later.

Oooh, I’ve seen that show - very ribbeting!

Uh-oh, T. is behind in getting the new strip in.

One set of possible titles were: “Owl-Stretching Time”, “Bun, Whackett, Buzzard, Stubble and Boot”, “A Toad Elevating Moment”, “Sex and Violence”, “A Horse, a Bucket and a Spoon”, “It’s…” and “Baron Von Took’s Flying Circus”. It ended up as “Monty Python’s Flying Circus”. I like Frog Applause. It’s nicely absurd, somewhat surreal and it stands out among all the other strip titles out there.

I could have fallen for “Bun, Whackett, Buzzard, Stubble and Boot”. In fact I would have paid twice my GoComics free subscription.

Better than having to eat crow.
