Rose: A tasty meal...
Rose: For my favorite furry friend!
Rose: You may be furry..but I'd hardly consider you my friend.
Squirrel: Why don't we assess our relationship over dinner!
Why can’t she like the squirrel? We have a neighbor that has a squirrel feeder attached to a tree that looks like a picnic table. They put a corn cob on it and it gives the appearance that the squirrels sit down for a meal!
Uncle Dick always carried his rifle to the outhouse in case of squirrels, but Uncle Roger didn’t like squirrel so Grandma told him it was rabbit. Aunt Mary spilled the beans, though, that she had seen that rabbit on the tree.
Squirrels get real mean as they get older. Even going as far as to bite the hand that feeds them. They do not make good pets. I know from experience. My grandma saved one when it was a baby. It was real cute as a baby; but as it got older, it could not stand anyone. It was real quick to use its razor sharp teeth on any finger. It was let loose into the wild and we never saw it again.

One squirrel isn’t even a snack, let alone dinner.
