This reminds me of another cartoon involving cavemen. It showed two of them and between them is an enormous club about twice thier size. One of the caveman says to the other “Let’s hope we never have to use it.” BC version of MAD (Mutual Assured Destruction).
While some, like Peter and John, were uneducated, at least half of the writers, like Moses, Joseph, Daniel, Solomon, Luke, Paul, … were extremely educated, far more than most people of their time. Far more than your education judging by your comment.
