We always had the thermostat set at 60 when I was a child. By the time I was Paige’s age, I was quite used to it, and I had long since stopped wearing earmuffs as a theatrical attempt to get my parents to turn it up. We all had plenty of wool socks and sweaters, and we knew how to use them.

It’s one thing to keep the thermostats low during the summer, but during the winter it’s a dumb idea.

In Sweden the landlords MUST keep at least 68 (20C) in all appartments or you can complain. There are also some rules that it cant get too hot in summer. And 60 seems real cold inside…

15.5556 degrees? that’s cold! Actually it’s not that bad. 7 or under is pretty chilly.
