What a cliffhanger.

Violet and Shermy were pretty much out of the strip by this point. It seems weird seeing two supporting characters and no main ones.

Tune in until Monday to know what happened.

Should I cheat and break out my Peanuts books or search the net? Nah, I think I can wait.

I enjoy seeing minor characters in Peanuts.

In spite of this strip, I hope the weekend passes at a snail’s pace.

I thought Violet was a grade ahead of CB.

I know what happens. I told Sparky this was one of my favorite storylines. It was very close to a situation that I went through.

Nice to see Violet and Shermy. He’s about to be gone for good, but she still shows up every now and then for awhile.

I don’t think I was ever called to the Principal’s office. On the other hand I seem to remember being sent or taken to it more than once.

I recall seeing Shermy in the strip but it’s wonderful to see him again.When I first saw Violet… I mistaked her for Lucy! I just thought it was Lucy with her hair up and wearing a different dress.xxx

I’m new here, I’m looking for a particular strip. Snoopy is on the doghouse composing a tribute to a golden retriever. A friend just lost her GR and I think the strip would cheer her up. Any ideas how to find it?

Violet and Shermy will be on TV in the next few weeks. It’s about the few times I would remember them. If I am not mistaken, Violet lasts pretty much into the early to mid 1970’s, and Shermy is gone afterwards.

It was pronounced Wayback, but I recall them spelling it Wabac as a joke on scientific acronyms.

“Mercy” “Well I’ll be” = old timey, grandma speak. Of course these strips ARE almost 50 years old! :)
