re-runs or not I like it just the way it is, they live in a very short life. so it’s got to be boring…repeat repeat repeat repe.

This story arc makes me want to go to the ’Bat Room.

This storyline does sound familiar. I’m not referring to it being a re-run but the theme of the 1st panel, Bucky’s line. I’ve seen that before. Anyone know?

You do know that Bat Masterson was a real person before he became a character on a TV show. He was variously a US Marshal and sheriff, a gambler, a prize fight promoter, and a sports writer for the New York Morning Telegraph. His biographer claimed that he only fired his guns at people a total of six times, but gained a reputation because of a practical joke played on an eastern reporter. in 1908 Teddy Roosevelt made him deputy to the Us Marshal for the southern district of New York. He died in 1921 at his typewriter.

yeah, I remember reading this arc, but I’m thrilled to see it again… had forgotten about it. I love how the humor segues from Satch’s goofy bat mask to Bucky’s amulet delusions.
