In church, we always sat in front of the same couple and his stomach always growled loudly at least once during the service. One Sunday our Pastor was giving a particularly intense sermon and suddenly hubby’s stomach GROWLS. I was fine until wifey whispers “Boy! That was a good one.” I lost it, laughing so hard I had to leave the service. After church several people came up to me and commented about how moved I was by the service. I didn’t enlighten them.
There was the joke between two ol’ church ladies that went; “Lord, the pastor was so dull today, my butt fell asleep !”“Yes.. we all heard it snoring twice !”
The technical term for tummy rumbles is Borborygmus, “gas movement in the intestines”. Of course, the name can change, under the right circumstances… ;-)

Frazz, the best strip on GoComics, in my opinion. C&H comes in a very close second. I think a large part of that is the memories they stir up.

Sure, just keep them all doped up. Give them meds. It’s good for ’em.

This was such a fun one to read. I tried to guess the punch line but Jeff stumped me in the end. Thanks a bunch for the laugh-out-loud comic.
