There was a great big world out there and Digger was eager to grab his piece of it.

AND he’s wearing sunglasses!

Digger hasn’t done a lot of good to the driver’s side door though.

Doggie’s future’s so bright . . . . .

Digger is on his way to cruise Ballard Street. All the cool dogs and cats meet at the Doggie Drive Inn to check out each others leashes. The Doggie Drive Inn is famous for their Alpo-bacon-cheese-roast beef sandwiches.

Dang it, Dogsniff! I had a very similar response. If only I was here one hour and five minutes ago, I could have said it first.

If Digger is diligent…. and does his doggie darndest…. he could get a day job, driving dogs…Wouldn’t you dig some dollars, Digger?

Mornin’ Ballardeers. Sorry we keep missing you Susan. I’ve just taken to leaving little notes for you, taped to the giant grinder, and the walk-in at the Tiki.My hours are a bit out of whack, lately, so I fully understand. The next couple of weeks or so won’t improve my chances of being up at the turn. I am sorta resigned to early morning postings ( 7 am ) after the First Mate heads off to steer the ship of state or whatever she does when she’s not navigating my galleon The Irish Rover.I have to sympathize with Digger. I once had a Great Dane who loved to ride in the car. I had a sun roof on it and she’d sit ( usually ) in the passenger seat with her feet on the floor and her head out of the sun roof. If I had to stop somewhere, she’d promptly scoot over into the driver’s seat, and rest her front paws on the steering wheel. Used to freak out a lot of people. I’m sure, since it was a tourist town we lived in, that lots of people took pictures of her. Unfortunately, it was the days before UTube and Facebook,
