I’ve been retired since the last time I was laid off (and was already on Medicare then). No problem at all controlling my weight, but currently I have to include large amount of carbs to compensate for low fat vegetarian diet. I will be very glad when my tastes can determine food choices again. I’m trying to keep up near 110 (was 106 this AM). I had spinach and jicama and a few grapes with a serving of WW pasta, 14gr of raw garlic, my own red sauce and sausage TVP crumbles. Also a glass of V8, slice of WW toast and 1 breakfast bar. Time to work out with my weights.
I bench press 2 sets of 25 reps with 12# dumbells as part, but start with a warmup using the 5# pair and 4# on each ankle. I never stress my body, so everything still works great.

I’m not sure if a vitamin C deficiency can make you lose weight on purpose.

Yes…..and now, thanks to Tony, I have an earwig. The Backyardigans kids show that my son hasn’t watched in years. Darn scurvy pirates.

Yep – private sector. I’ll celebrate a belated Leif Ericcson Day next time I’m at the Norway Pavillion at Epcot.

My hubby was supposed to have off but had to go to a conference out of town, so they owe him a day off.
