So, Friday will be the big dog frightening the clean-up crew, Saturday will see Joel & Rufus high-tailing it out of the garage with a monster in it. Sunday, everyone meets at church in an unrelated series of puns, bringing us back to Monday.
By then, maybe we can get started on the all new and improved “Animals of Gasoline Alley” strip which promises to be the laugh-filled hijinks resulting from the friendship of a large dog and a small cat. That should be OK for a year or two.

History is made today. I am genuinely glad to see Joel and Rufus, and for me, that is saying a lot!

I am glad to see Joel and Rufus. I wonder how Giacomo will react. If he smells cat on their clothes, they will be in for it.

Rufus has said “Yes’m” to just about everyone, regardless of gender, for as long as I’ve been reading the strip.
