That show was a hot topic for all of 5 minutes. The bigger issue lies not with the N.F.L but in high school and college. If there was a system in place for proper diagnosis of head trauma at ALL levels, this entire discussion would be a moot point.
@linguist. The son of a friend of my finished playing a game, went home, laid down on the couch, and almost bled to death because he was kicked so hard it ruptured his spleen, thankfully his parents got him to the hospital in time, he survived, without his spleen, but his parents refused to let him play again while in HS. The coach did not notice(he was kicked so hard he lay on the ground for about 5 min trying to breathe, but the coach put him right back in the game. I was in the stands, along with his parents. Not a single person-the Dr on the sidelines, the trainer, the coach-noticed that he was severely injured

Rugby style: no helmets or pads but still full tackling.

America is far from perfect, but making such a generalization is ridiculous.

Is this an editorial strip or a comic strip? Time to lay off this subject already.

You could make that statement about every country in the world. But let’s agree to disagree.
