you forget that women are the weak sex. they do not have the strength to put it down – or is it all just a part of their plot to take over the whole world before the NSA?

Ok….why, exactly, is it only the responsibility of the male? Why can’t women occasionally be thoughtful to leave the seat up for us?

@notsoastute; I think that was one of the many things that got me back to being single. Lift the seat? YES.. Open the car door? NO !and so on.. Thus I became a philosopher with half a house..

Women have larger bladders. Men urinate more often. Check the seat before you sit down – a no-brainer.

I always close both. Flushing with lid up is very unsanitary (tiny droplets spray around the room). I also always wash properly and keep the bathroom clean.

The rationale is that women might go drowsily in the night and fall in. But if a man were that drowsy, he’d pee on the seat without noticing….

For a small fortune Toto makes one that will raise and lower the lid for you and even flush after you’re done.

Not sure what you mean (I store away toothbrushes right after using) combs and brushes not so much unless people are over (because I may use every time I’m there).
