Ah, the innocence of childhood. In the late 60’s, at about the age of 8, the kid next door and I decided that we could turn his pedal jeep car into a candy machine. We never asked ourselves how wailing on it with hammers and things was going to change it into a candy machine, we just thought we could, so we tried. Where did we think the candy was going to come from? Details, details. We made a few dents, did no real harm, went back inside as the sun set and grew up way too fast. Man, this life thing needs a rewind button. I want to believe again.
The joke that was told to freshman when I was in high school was that there was a pool under the gym floor, partly for the purpose of the Underwater Basket-Weaving classes. And that was a nun that told me that! She had me up to the UBW classes.
Why can’t someone push Lucy down 14 flights of stairs with a load of crabs scuttling about?I don’t call her “Crabby McCrab” for nothing. At least then she would be with her REAL relatives!xxx
@AmyGrantfan51774:I’m in northern Kentucky, close to Cincinnati. I saw Amy Grant once, back in 1983 or 1984, I think. Got her to sign one of her albums for me. She was very nice and friendly.

I’m surprised she didn’t say that the trapdoor opened to an alligator-filled swamp, the bully that she is. It would have served her purpose better…

Linus: “I assumed a long stairway more probable than my own sister lying to me!”

No, it’s the door to Snoopy’s doghouse that leads to all that.

There’s nothing under the board/trap door, Linus.

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary… oh, just looked. Never mind.
