It’s more like something piques his interest, and voila, kangaroos. I KNOW how that works

My problem is I forget to read the comics if I start writing first. Here’s my comment to the 11/4 strip, posted at 6:55am EST today because I forgot to read the comics yesterday:

“There may be computers, word processors and typewriters, but nothing beats the first draft done on notebook paper with pencil or pens. I still have some unfinished drafts done in green Sheffield ink from their ink pins”

My greatest enemies are Candy Crush, Papa Pear and Jigsaw World. When I get stuck or uncertain of how I want something to go I do one of those games. They’re limited to five lives, or can be done fairly quickly and then back to the story. But some days you just get on a roll and can blast through several levels at a time on one life, or the puzzle is tough and you keep looking for just ‘one more piece’.

Nebuquduriuzhur is right about common plots. I have one author I really used to like, but now I can tell you that in chapter three she will do such and such, and in chapter six she’ll get hit on the head, and…OR you will find a favorite author, who writes good, funny books and then the series will gradually go so ‘dark’ I can’t be bothered. The Susie Stackhouse series comes to mind. The first couple were really good, but later, ugh.
