    I agree about the point of view & the bushes…. but where is the house?? It looks like the bushed go behind the step Earl is sitting on in all of panels 2, 4 & 7.

    I got a nice chuckle out of this one.

    The viewing angle change in the last panel just looks to me like the “camera” has moved in a wide half-circle, zooming out and down a bit. Maybe the bushes should extend out a bit farther past grandpa, if drawn perfectly, but I never would have noticed if it hadn’t been brought up.

    It always surprises me how many people get confused and bothered by changes in viewing angle in comic strips.

    “It always surprises me how much time I waste reading all these silly comments about how something changed in the comic background!”-It surprises me too. Me, I have nothing better to do, but I would have thought YOU did.-(What’s more, they are often the best part.)
