And the worst part is, now he’s gotta take ANOTHER putt
Horace, silly horse, don’t stand under the hole you’re putting into!
Be fore warned, Horace…. – Before long, little birdies, then eagles, then albatrosses will start flying above his head…
I see the problem here: there’s nothing lining that hole! Next time you play a sport, Horace, you should protect yourself by using a cup.
In panel 2, it kinda looks like he kicked the ball the rest of the way.
Panel awareness is important for cartoon characters. Something Horace seems to have difficulty with to our delight.
Did he really sink that long putt or not? .10. “If a ball be stopp’d by any person, horse, dog, or any thing else, the ball so stopp’d must be played where it lyes.” Annual Challenge for the Edinburgh Silver Club in 1744.
I’ve heard of a hole in one—but Horace saved himself from two holes in one putt…
Idea time: Golf helmets!
Now should fear that if I drop something in a hole…that it will come back to haunt me overhead…is my life but a comic strip??
