Ages ago they said we'd go to the park... Would you like another cup of tea before we go? Um, not for me, dear- I've just put my coat on! The kettle's just boiled! Oh, ok, then- shall we have a slice of cake as well? They do the dilly dally so!

They can take the kettle off and reheat the water after they get back from taking Fred for a walk. He probably needs to use the bathroom and it isn’t healthy for him to hold it. Better taken Fred out or there might be an accident. Not his fault.

What’s really annoying is when someone rushes you along — and then when you’re ready, they take their own sweet time about it. Go figure.
