    LOTS of leftovers from Yesterday:

Sandfan said, about 19 hours ago @Mikeyj Spot on analysis, mate.Number Six said, about 13 hours ago @Mikeyj Your criticism of todayā€™s strip was spot on BTW. Itā€™s much funnier if Andy and Chalkie appear to be paying attention.^^Yup, I have been studying cartoons for 40 years, and, it was pretty obvious that they were telegraphing the punchline again--

Ę¹Ź…É—Ź˜ said, about 15 hours ago @Mikeyj ā€œAmateurā€ is high-praise in my Book; means Theyā€™re doing It for love.^^What I meant was that I am an amateur cartoonist, but that I understand the way to write a strip better than they (the pros) do!-Number Three said, about 14 hours ago @Mikeyj Thank you for your nice compliment! I look mysterious?^^Yeah, instead of smiling at the camera, youā€™re looking away, inviting the observer to wonder who you are and what youā€™re about, very interesting pic :)-Number Six said, about 14 hours ago @Mikeyj Thank you to you and others for the positive feedback. Thereā€™s plenty more to come, so hopefully ā€˜Jailbirdsā€™ will continue to improveā€¦^^NP, it was quite funnyā€¦ great job at not telegraphing the punchline (unlike Unohoo)-Linda Dean Yup, that chicken cartoon is pretty much spot onre Canadian Drivers ā€¦ When I drive in Quebec I have fits over the way they drive there-beviek said, about 8 hours ago @StelBel OMG Stel Donā€™t look now but that turkey you were getting ready to stuff has made his escape! Heā€™s probably half way to Canada by now! Do they do Thanksgiving there? ^^Ummmm , that isnā€™t a Turkey, itā€™s a naked roosterā€¦. and yes, we have Thanksgiving about a month before the USA does.

Uncle Luigi always said: " Itā€™s better to be a Bookie than a Bettor. "Remember, itā€™s not how you win or lose the game that counts. Itā€™s how you cover the spread !

Thatā€™s the one good thing about being a bookie. Youā€™re going to make money on the ā€œvigā€ no matter what. You just have to know what to cover and what to lay off.Iā€™ve always felt that the Irish and English had the right idea about off-track betting. The bettor had the option of paying the 12.5% tax either on his winnings or on his bet. Smart money would rather pay, for example, the equivelent of .25 on a $2.00 bet than $12.50 off a $100 win. The tax is collected right at the betting shop. Since there are more losers than winners , the government is happy with itā€™s cut, the Bookie with his share and if heā€™s lucky, the punter with his winnings.

Iā€™m always having recurring dreams about cars. Well, Not always but most of the time.

I can actually drive in my dreams.

Every time I dream about it, Iā€™m in a different type of car each time.

    Dreams are weird things.

Itā€™s a wonder I donā€™t wake up with my hands moving in a steering wheel gesture.

    LOL xxx

Yes Iā€™m up.-Caffeine never used to affect me. I could still go to sleep easily. I hardly ever have an early night. Iā€™m always up very late even without the caffiene. It takes itā€™s toll on me but I never learn from it. -Night-Gaunt does look like a pretty cool person after seeing his photo.-Personally, I would never feel comfortable meeting anybody off GoComics no matter how long Iā€™ve known them. I think I would only do it once and thatā€™s it. Iā€™m not very sociable to start with but I like it that way.-I think my photo looks fine to me. I respect your opinion though. I must admit that I do cheat by editing them a little but Iā€™m not ashamed. If it wasnā€™t right to do that then there wouldnā€™t be any photo editing software at all. I use the editing on my phone.-It was great to hear from you while you were on your trip. Glad youā€™re back properly now though. If that makes sense.

Your second comment to me arrived when I was just about to reply to you. I love your Keep on Truckinā€™ picture.

The first car I was driving in my dream was a Ferrari.

You mentionedā€¦.ā€œabout 17 astronomy domines agoā€.In 1969/70 I was at a college gig when a local band (Bill Fordā€™s Angels) did a version of ā€œAstronomy Domineā€. The lead guitarist did a brilliant solo using a 6 inch nailā€¦.I have never heard such sharp notes since. He was an exceptional guitarist (his name was John Hayhoeā€¦.are you reading this John?) I wonder what he went on to do.
