Ahhh. Scrambled eggs for breakfast and bread pudding afterwards. Nothing wrong with that.

But why does squirrel look worried? Squirrels in my neighborhood tease cats for the pure enjoyment of it.

Squirrels never know when their “zig” will not match the “zag” chasing them. Add a roadway into the mix…maybe a “splat” is in both the squirrel’s and cat’s future!

My cat never even bothers to chase the squirrels because she knows they can outrun and outclimb her every time. She will sit in the yard and they will come to the birdfeeders without even giving her a second glance.

Our squirrels seem to enjoy running from one end ot the yard to the other and back at branch/roof level so the dogs will do the same on the ground. Did have to move our squirrel feeder to the front yard because the squirrels were throwing corn kernels at the dogs (cf Bip and Bop in “Mutts”).

Remember, Peekaboo, when chasing a squirrel during the winter, AVOID the roof when it has snow on it.

When our cat was young it fed its kittens with squirrels… We saw it happen three times. So depending on the cat (and maybe the squirrel) it can be really troublesome for the squirrel. Most impressive are my brother´s cat. Every spring it catches the new rabbits.

I think they should have shown Rose reacting a little more to her cat falling off the roof.
