It amazed us at the beach, 100 yards in either direction and someone would put their towel right next to us. And this really happens at the movies too. What is with these people?
Oh those poor souls. During the entire filmâquiet parts as well as loudâthey will have to endure the sounds of the Pennys eating all that food. Surely they sound like a pen of hogs. (No offense meant to hogs!) And talking. And then there are those smells! (I wonât comment further about that.)
Gee, now those haplessly-located unfortunates donât have to even watch âTHE OTHERSâ: theyâre sitting right next to them! Ohhhh, lucky, Lucky, LUCKY!!
I very seldom go to movies unless with grandkids, but then, all we care is a good place for us and sufficient seats together. I hear though, that many folks are happy to be sitting alone and annoyed when joined by folks like the Pennyâs.
It never bothers me that someone sits near me (unless tall in front of me or kicking seat and behind me) â latter has happened more when flying. Little 5â folks like me do not like to sit behind the tall.
I used to sit about in the middle of the theater, until one day 2 women came in late and sat right behind me in an otherwise empty theater. From that day on I try to sit in the back row. At least nobody can sit behind, but on occasion someone will sit right in front of me. People are so irritating!
