    I’d say this teacher’s got Phoebe’s number already. :)

    Glean!

I hope Max is in her group—he might get an opportunity to be chivalrous toward her (out-doing an older but uncouth kid in English, perhaps).

Dana must be spending all her time studying for the Standardized Comic Artist Tests (The “SCATs”), since this one was 28 hours late being uploaded… (Just teasing you, Dana!) :o)

That’s pretty much it, Phoebe. My old math teacher once got us to make up a test for him. Racket is the word.

I couldn’t help but notice how much Phoebe and her teacher look alike. A glimpse of Phoebe’s future, perhaps ?

Phoebe’s teacher is kind of young looking and kinda cool to put up with Phoebe’s questions. I wounder if she’ll get Sam or maybe the girl with the ball who she thinks might be named Stephenie or maybe a new kid? Maybe an older boy, a bad boy, tall, muscular, kind of a jerk but with a secret soft side who she falls for and then Max is all like “I don’t get girls why does she want to be just friends with me and then date a guy like that?” then Dakota Dates Max then she and Phoebe fight, Dakota gets the new guy and Phoebe gets Max but then Max leaves Phoebe for Sue, Dakota’s guy is a jerk, Phoebe realizes he was a jerk, gets her out of a bad relationship, he hook up with sam, then Dakota gets Max off Sue,Phoebe gets max and sue shaves Dakota. Then Her hair grows back regains its magical powers and ties Sue to the maypole . If that exact thing doesn’t happen maybe I’ll just draw it or some thing, or not, or some one else can have it. Just saying.

There’d better be someone in each group that knows what they’re doing. .But there’re laws against substituting someone like that for the district employee.

I must admit I’m cranky with the teacher for saying children in school can learn from one another. While they certainly WILL learn from one another, the value of WHAT they will learn is highly dubious. Sorry Dana. Not taking it out on you. Hope your techno-glitches go away soon!

It can succeed. If the kids are properly monitored, and the subject matter is more general principles than catalogs of individual facts, the brighter children may find that they understand the material better after having had to explain it to someone else, and the less bright children may get the one-to-one attention that a single teacher cannot give them.
