Transcript:
Janis: There! I rented a movie on demand for four bucks, just like the video store!
Janis: Nothing to worry about!
Arlo: This movie's stupid! Find another one!
She could have talked it over with him, I suppose, before she ordered the movie, but he just disrespected her idea of what a good movie is AND her initiative….
Love and support your local libraries! : ) I always have a stack of library books ready to read while my husband enjoys his movies – his sound doesn’t bother me, and my light doesn’t bother him…
I agree. There needs to be an equal balance for order in the home. I can’t deal with ads anymore, they are so annoying, so i mainly watch TCM. Communicating with family and friends is still the key for a good understanding.
He just got used to starting something on Netflix or Amazon Prime, it’s not good so he can just stop it and choose something else. Except now it will cost $4 to do that once rather than an unlimited number of times for $8 a month. He got spoiled.
And I’m not complaining about the libraries, I’m just pointing out that they are not “free.” Just like there is no such thing as a free lunch – SOMEBODY is paying for it….

Get Netflix and soon you’ll realize often the shows you want to see aren’t the complete series and many times never will be.

My late wife and I spent many hours side by side on the couch reading our respective books. To us, it was preferable to watching a movie.
