And you're absolutely certain the work crew completed their task? Yes, sir. They labored through the night and finally finished unwrapping all your gifts at approximately 6:35 this morning. Well, then, I must sit down and compose a letter of complaint to this Santa Claus follow. Sir? Look around you, Jarvis! Tell me if you see any sign of the antitank weaponry I specifically requested a full 30 days prior to this date! Sorry, sir. I do not.

The timing is an ideal juxtaposition to the WSJ article on teaching children to have appreciation and gratitude, and to express their thanks.

I asked for a M1 Abrams main battle tank, fully loaded, but I forgot to specify that I wanted a real, working version. Got a model kit instead. Grumble..

This Santa Claus fellow probably was constrained by certain arms-ban treaties. And his keen sense of right and wrong.Instead, Master Sedgwick, try the usual “backdoor” channels of the international arms trade black market. I’m sure you can buy all the anti-tank weaponry you want there.

A kid that doesn’t want to unwrap his gifts is more alarming than a kid who wants anti-tank weapons.

I agree with vecihi, what child doesn’t want to unwrap presents? I still like to unwrap presents.
