No adult beverages until next Valentines, but I LOVE a spicy herbal tea (current fave is Bengal Spice with 1/2ml of hawthorne and of holy basil) and I also love an occasional hot cocoa made with almond milk and organic cocoa.
And with my poor memory I had to check, but the toddy is described as I remember – whiskey with whole cloves and cinnamon stick, hot water and a wedge of lemon (not really my taste at all, soothing for a bad cold).
Unadulterated room-temperature tea. Favorite all-time alcohol is a Hungarian red wine called “Magyar Voros” (which I’m guessing means “Hungarian Red” which the Iowa State Liquor Stores carried in the mid 80s for about $1.59 per bottle. Now I settle for rieslings and white zin._Besides the drink, “Hot Toddy” has also meant the Marx Brothers’ two-time costar Thelma Todd.

Booker’s, Laphroaig and Stock. One, or all served neat. I even have glasses especially meant for single malt. Booker’s and Stock I drink in a snifter.
