New book smell is better than new car smell any day! The only thing that can come close is a new box of Crayolas or maybe a newly opened box of oatmeal.

When our new library opened(some years ago) – I borrowed a few pockstbooks. Fresh reprints. I was the first to borrow them.

I love the smell of a new book. But the antique mustiness of old books in a used bookstore is one of my favorite scents.

One of the things I missed after getting laid off from the printers was the smells inside the building.
