On my ‘79 Cad it’s IN the fender and pops out when the radio is turned on.

And his windshield wipers aren’t frozen into a block of ice in a well under the windshield.

I remember when teenage gangs used to tear off auto antennas to make zip guns. We’ve come so far since. (Is there an emoticon for cynical irony?)

plus, inside the plugger- mobile there is only an AM radio to listen to the DJ stack the wax

Every Plugger needs a whip antenna to listen to ‘Devo’ . Gotta have “Freedom of Choice” and “Whip it”!

What antenna?

Not embedded in the windshield and not in some hooligan’s back pocket either.

I had a Chevy that had the antenna in the windshield and it worked great. Plus there was less likely the chance of it getting snapped off by someone or something.

Windshield antennae are a 1970s thing!

My car’s satellite antenna sticks up out of the roof in back.

My ’95 Pontiac Trans Sport had the antenna inside the roof — fiberglass body,.

I owned a Triumph TR-7 back in the ’70s; I installed an automatic antenna. Turn on the radio, the antenna went up. Turn off the radio, the antenna went down. Replaced it twice then reinstalled the factory antenna.

Here’s one I’d like to see: The bumpers on a pluggermobile are made of rubber.
