A TECHNICAL question, is it? Oh, the mind boggles! And, yes, 2old, I agree he should pull up his kecks. Nobody needs to have to look at that! Oh, BTW, the GBwOF is back!
I canât wait for this. I know Burlâs three favourite magazines are Nature, Scientific American and American Scholar, so the question should really be tough.
Heâll stump âem all rightâŠOr at least theyâll be speechless.
Theyâll be gasping for an answer to the biggest question of the weekâŠ. monthâŠ. yearâŠ. âCan one person really be this stupid?â
Joy is so proud. The other tourists may ask silly questions about food and toiletsâŠ.Burl wants to know about hard science.
âWhat planet was the moon landing on?ââHow many miles per gallon does the space shuttle get?ââHow many stars now have our space stations on them?â
I suspect his âtechnicalâ question is something like, "how many spoonfuls of Tang do they use per serving in space. An artificially colored and flavored drink with a taste not found in nature is well within his experience.
No, a question about the Tang is more likely to come from Joy; I think Susanâs suggestions (any of the 3) is more likely what Burl would ask. But weâll never know for sure.
Whatever it is, even that little boy looking at him will find it stupid!
Joy was rooting around under the bed looking for some TP (the dining room hutch seemed to be empty) and came across the GBwOF. It didnât seem too dirty, so she brushed off the giant dust jack rabbits and wore it today. " Thats funny. she thought, it seems to have shrunk under there" Not realizing it is only a month after the holidays, or feeding frenzy as it is in their house.

Well, thereâs something on the guideâs shirt opening. But I think the funnier âfind itâ is being sported by Burlâs sagging pants.

What is the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow?ï»ż
SusanSunshine Premium Member about 11 years ago
X⊠the velocity of a swallow usually depends on what youâre swallowingâŠ..so an unladen swallow of air happens at a fairly high speedâŠ
In Burlâs case, though, the back draft slows it down, cos heâs already full of hot air.
Air, therefore, canât flow into Burl at normal speed⊠causing low velocity and concurrent brain oxygen deprivation.
Now thereâs some science for ya!
