To paraphrase Art Linkletter…Kids draw the darndest things.

Have we ever seen Pam’s kids before?

STOP! before it ends in a “sez you”.

And they haven’t even seen the drawings on the refrigerator…

Anyone else look at the kids and think of The Jetsons?

so who’s their daddy? or is this strip more like “pick your sons, pick your daughters too, from the bottom of a long glass tube” :p

Past strips have established that Pam is indeed divorced, with two small kids (Brewster once represented Pam in a custody battle against her former husband.) The kids were always off screen before; heard, but not seen. This is a first.

“Um, Captain? Our enemies just surrendered to my kids. What should we do?”

“Tell them, ‘Never give up! Never surrender!’”

“Okay, if you think that’s wise…”

“That Pam, always a kidder!”

When they bring out the WMD, it’s all over:

“I am rubber, you are glue……”

We’ve seen the kids — but it was several years ago at least.The girl looks as if she were drawn by a different artist.

WOW, we see Pam’s actual kids! “They adore Brewster.”

Can the boy not breathe normal air?

If Brewster represented Pam in a custody suit, that’s why we never see the kids. They live with their father.

is this the first time they show her kids on panel ?

Yup, this is the first time the kids have visibly appeared in the strip. They have been off-screen before and Pam has shouted at them before. But this is their first face-time. Or in the case of her son, partial face-time.

I can’t imagine what happened to their father coughprobablybeatentodeathcough.

Wait… what if the father is Cliff? There was that one party where Pam woke up the next morning in the same room with Cliff. They were both passed out… but it’s not inconceivable. We remember in past strips Pam has had brain wipes to remove bad memories. And the boy DOES look somewhat like Cliff…
