Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
When I am left on hold for more than five minutes, I ask the person who finally answers if they are hiring service reps. âI used to work at the phone company and Big Bank and youâre obviously short-handed.â Iâm not nasty â having been a rep, I know the poor soul who answered the phone is only there to take the guff handed out by other people, but I make it know the customer (this one, anyway) isnât happy.
And you should hear what I have to say about those dâ-d âif you need such and such, press 1â arrangements.
A lot of people still have land lines; I have both land and cell. ;-)On a side note, Dani, what youâre referring to in the last part of your post is known in the trade as âvoice mail hellâ. Even if the end result is supposed to be a live support rep or sales repâŠ. 1 if by land, 2 if by sea ;-)

I do not call it âbeing on holdâ: I call it âthey put me on âignoreââ.
