And yeah, a great strip.I love so many comics, it’s really hard to have an absolute favorite….but Agnes is certainly in the running…. and I doubt you could find consistently better dialogue anywhere.
How is grandma doing? I also have this strip in the running. Dinette set is 1 and this is 2 Agnes is a good one for friendship Dinette is .. well.. OK ummmm yea that’s about it
I love Agnes thinking Trout is a ‘glamour girl’ too. No good is going to come of this make-up job but it should be fun. I agree with you Susan Sunshine about the dialogue!
Now let us contemplate the likely result of painting usng items from HookersRUsUp until now Agnes has avoided looking even more glamorous as a means of avoiding the hot-to-trot boys like Bob.

Wait for the dust, Agnes. I have this feeling of something not good impending.

Being so pale I am afraid to take a nap lest somebody plant a lily in my hand, I just roared at Agnes’ “wait for the dust to settle” remark.

I wouldn’t exactly call them thugs. More like colorful characters. Standard riffraff one will find in almost any urban setting.
