I don’t understand why people feel the need to give away the ending. Do you shout out the endings in movies? Do you tell people how the book they’re reading ends?
Knock it off. There is a whole new fan base of Peanuts and they haven’t read all of the strips.
@tintin500 I couldn’t agree more. I remember and enjoy this classic storyline, but there are occasions where I don’t remember a few.Helpful hint to people who know the ending: don’t post the ending before it’s posted. I realize you’re probably stupid, but do you have to spread your stupidity to the lengths of mindlessly posting spoilers?
A strange monitoring system of comments on here.I posted a courteous thank you to tintin500 saying how right their comment was concerning spoilers. I went on to say I would not click through to comments in future because this whole Peanuts strip has been spoiled by the spoilers. And yet, the spoilers remain, and my own courteous comment is never published. May I politely ask why?If this is how you treat your paying customers against some of the non-paying spoilers then come next renewal I may have to think again. I WOULD STILL DEARLY LIKE TO KNOW WHY MY THANKS TO tintin500 AND MY QUERY TO THE SPOILER WERE APPARENTLY CONSIDERED UNFIT TO POST???If you want satisfied, paying customers, you better check my query out. Thank you.
You are so welcome for the sincere thoughts. Like you, I had not had a lot of contact with my aunt in the last twenty or so years. Her husband, my Dad’s brother, passed away in the early 1990s. But as I was growing up, our family often took vacations to the town where they lived because that’s where Dad grew up. Aunt Julia was always sooo hospitable and positive and she loved a good laugh. Last time I saw her was about five years ago for her birthday. She had been having health problems but was doing some better. (It was one of those milestone birthdays - I think she had just turned 80.) Anyway, she was still so nice and eager to laugh. Pretty much her regular old self. My Dad has talked to her a few times since then but the birthday was the last time I talked with her. A lot of us had great affection for her and will miss her. Time moves on and soon it will be my turn. Not trying to be morbid and I’m not worried about it. I just hope that when it is my turn, I also leave as many people as she did with affection, respect, and admiration.
I saw a lot of comments among the Cappers. That’s how I found out about your uncle. I don’t always read all the comments on Andy Capp, since they are are usually Andy Capp-specific, but I noticed that one of the first comments was addressed to you. I had been wondering where you’ve been. I was glad to hear you are okay but sad about this hurt to your family. I know it has to be hard on your Mom, and she is in my prayers as well. Don’t worry about your tears. There is strength in tears of those who grieve with others. I’m sure your Mom finds strength in your tears as much as in your smiles. Sometimes crying together eases the pain. The loss will always be felt but the pain will get easier.
I think my weekend will be average. I don’t have many plans. At least exciting ones. First on the agenda? Shoveling my driveway! LOL It has finally warmed up enough to shovel the snow and ice that we got on Wednesday. Hopefully, I should be able to get that done in about an hour.
Mom & Dad’s Anniversary Celebration was a lot of fun and it was so sweet to see them having a good time together. We are all looking forward to their 65th Anniversary next year.
I hope your weekend is wonderful and your coming week is filled with sunshine and love!
Just so you know, my comment today is a statement. I have no clue how this story arc ends. Also, spoilers don’t bother me. In movies, books, whatever. But that’s just me.

Pity Peppermint Patty wasn’t around for this—would’ve liked to see ‘Lucille’ lose.

Snoopy represents how children percieve a beloved dog (or cat) as one of the gang! ☺
