Well…I’ll tell you this much. I got up this morning and it was so cold in the house I immediately turned on the furnace and was so delighted that the house warmed up and not the phone. I’m sure most of you went through the same deal this morning as well!
As far as the cartoon…yeh, it must be the telephone. Hmmmm…I’ll check.

Dad made a mistake about the house being warm. Have they checked to see if Alvin is in the kitchen? If so, then they found Emmy Lou.
