You can make those without a cookie press. Just flatten balls of dough onto the sheet, and press on the chocolates. My bestie used to use chocolate kisses when we were in highschool.

Mr. Bun isn’t any less extant a being than Hobbes. If the strip was drawn from Susie’s viewpoint, we’d undoubtedly see him talking to her, licking her face, playing hide and seek, etc.

If anyone ever doubts that Susie actually had a crush on Calvin, this strip shows her true feelings. Boys do mature later about these things!

I notice that Susie has a dumb toy animal. It’s a good thing Hobbes is really alive and doesn’t fall into that category.

I had a Hobbs… a Mr. Bun. His name was White Bear. I loved him very much, and he loved me. I think even now I can still feel his soft touch and his smell and his little plaid jacket.
