There are some things I’d only make if I really want and have someone who wants to share. That is especially my chicken liver pate. I will probably make some around Holiday time this year. That way it will be 10 months from being total vegetarian. LOL!
I’m not all that fond of tacos, but prefer fresh made of corn masa. My guilty treat meal is pizza (and there is even a nitrate free pepperoni (Fortuna’s I think) somewhere in California). Whole wheat flour and olive oil with water makes a good crust and I can use a moderate amount of low-fat cheese, except the parmesan (I want a small amount of good Reggiano).
Reminds me of the Talking Heads’ song “Heaven”. Heaven “is a place, a place where nothing, nothing ever happens”. The song ends by using kissing as the analogy for doing something over and over without it ever getting old. Guess they didn’t think of tacos.
