Have you really stolen something if you didn’t take it?-Joe didn’t take the dog’s affection, the dog gave Joe his affection.-Still, it is always a shame when you can’t talk about people behind their backs without getting growled at.

There’s a story of a lawyer questioning a cop on the stand about why he’d trust another cop with his life, but lock his locker at work. The cop replied, “Well, sir, we sometimes have lawyers walking through the locker room.”
