If it’s that important, we need a Prohibition amendment, like we tried for alcohol. As it stands, without such authorization, the Federal War on (some) Drugs is unconstitutional and illegal. And “forfeiture” makes a travesty of the 4th amendment, with police going around breaking into random innocent peoples homes, and swiping stuff to fund their department.

Yep, and too many dimwit rep-ugly-can’ts who think that everyone who gets public assistance is a doper. Just like the dimwit rep-ugly-can’ts in Florida who passed the “drug test for assistance recipient law” — only to find out it that recipients of public assistancc tested positive at about a 2.5% rate versus the 7-8% rate of the general population. They thought they were going to save a bunch of money by “not giving public money” to dopers, and wound up spending four times as much tax money on drug tests as they saved on withholding benefits..But that’s OK; I’m sure denis1112 won’t let facts stand in the way of his knee-jerk opinion. He’ll just ignore the truth, since (as Colbert famously stated), conservatives don’t like to study an issue because reality has a well-established liberal bias.
