From the size of the box I’d say it might be his ashes.

…or having to hunt down your name taped to a piece of furniture, or jewellery, or box or book on one or more pieces of anything. (who has time to tape names to things and what happens if someone follows up behind you and changes the names?)

Even if you name names and tag furniture, who knows just what a bunch of relatives will get up to. None of my relatives had anything to leave, so no fights in my family.

Did this box just come from Mars?

I love this strip, but the “story arcs” never seem long enough or aren’t a developed as they should be. Or could be. For instance, what happened to Granma’s heart attack problems? What was the result of Agnes’s ridiculous school photograph? These could have been developed.

This is not a family that is overly concerned with sustaining any illusions about life…

Some think the arcs are too short, some think them too long. Grandma got a stent put in,she’s back to work. And no,the package is not from Mars.It was in the mail box,but I thought that was an obvious conclusion.
