Transcript:
Arlo: I slept well last night!
Arlo: I didn't open my eyes until the alarm clock went off!
Arlo: Well? How did you sleep last night?
Janis: Give me a minute, and I'll make up something really good.
In panels 1 & 2, Arlo has whiskers growing high on his cheeks, almost even with his eyes? It’s OK, it’s all gone by the last panel. Maybe he shaved in between?
Used to sleep well. Lost weight. For last 4 years only sleep 1.5 hrs at a time. I wake up with whichever side I am sleeping on in pain, turn over, repeat. Also cannot sit as rear hurts also – lost all padding. Some mornings I think I will go crazy from lack of rem.

I’ve been having trouble sleeping – not so much at night, or in the morning, but all afternoon, I just toss and turn.

I sometimes wonder what I could feel like if I had 2 months of solid 9-hour sleep at nights…

I had much better sleep on a rotating shift schedule than “retirement”.

What do they need an alarm for? They never seem to go anywhere. And why would she need to make something up?Can’t he just tell him the truth?
