What? The Penny’s never eat French Fries?

Joy looks decidedly strange and Who is Verla with? The guy at the table is eating French fries and le ‘amburger. This is classier than their usual Burger Barn dinner. Special occasion? Verla’s new date?

C’mon Joy, you’ll eat anything, foreign, domestic—or alien! And lots of it. That bulge in your pocket is a package of (dollar store) Ho Ho’s just in case.

So…no Canadian bacon?

Looks like a classy restaurant for sure, after all they have to wait to be seated. The dinner crowd hasn’t arrived yet so the Penny’s can make pigs of themselves and there won’t be many people leaving.I bet they eat more than waffles .

@2Old,I was wondering the same. Maybe Joy tried a wig and Verla is definitely NOT with Jerry!The place looks a little upscale for the Pennys – hostess and all, especially the fancy windows, and Burl’s actually wearing a jacket. However, condiments on the table suggest their usual “stuff yourself” kind of place as does the lay-in ceiling.

The same reason we all do, How stupid, rude, or insensitive are they today.

Maybe it’s a classier place because Burl’s NOT paying !!!

Maybe the dude in the brown trench… is that handyman…and maybe he’s treating…. ! ? !

[sigh] Your inane barbs against this comic grow very tiresome. But, I am sure that is your actual intention… to aggravate people. But, I will state the following again…. Julie’s work is to many, very classic and uproariously funny as it pokes at foibles that a lot of us see, and (we may not want to admit) sometimes have ourselves.

I think Joy must have been in a windstorm…. she looks even more “unusual” today. :) I really miss your comments here, SusuanSunshine!!!!! I hope that you will come back. Could it be that Verla is “two-timing” Jerry?!?!?!?! Oh, man. Poor Jerry. :)

The guy in the book looks like Burl’s twin brother…. hopefully he DOES NOT have a twin.

Fancy-looking place…..woo woo. Looks like a former grocery store that failed ’n bailed….then got a ’lil facelift to hide…somewhat….its former station in the economy.Gotta hand it to this Flab Four: ya gots some kind (God only knows what!!) of class, that lets you be so crass!!

But they have a destination -FOOD! And lots of it, Quality does not matter, nutrition does not matter only calories; the more the better.
