Hey, has anyone heard from Dave Hussell? His sherpa comic ‘Oat’ has been dormant for a month now and he’s not answered any posts there. He used to comment here on DS occasionally, but I’ve not seen anything from him anywhere for a whole month, and I’m beginning to get worried about him. If anyone knows how he’s doing please let us know, okay?
…..and finally. Burt gave up his Barcalounger to a guest? And why would she want to even sit in it? We went to an Estate Sale yesterday, and there was a brown one with what looked like 27 years of grease on the arms. Who would want to buy Burl’s chair and what was it doing in Vancouver WA?
If I buy any USED furniture with fabric, it must be easily replaced. Most of my antiquing is just hard furniture and knick knacks,
It’s nice to know that they DO THINK about the values of exercise (even though we ALL know they won’t do a lick). I’m trying to add to mine, especially now that I’m eating normally (had my 2nd sandwich today of that rare roast beef- it will not stay pink for a week). And I’ve had a few drinks of gin.
Including the gin I had at his house last night- not really even liking the taste after a year without. Last night I tried a sip of his whiskey and I may switch. It did not have a lot of the sour mash taste that I always associated (actually a slightly fruity taste like a brandy).
And for a lot of prolonged kisses, having the same flavor is an improvement. LOL!

Glad to see they’re doing their Chair-Robics© though….and eating bite-size cookies cos they have fewer calories, so you can eat six times as many.
11 minutes of Chair-Robics© burns the same calories as 11 minutes of something-or-other….. sitting in a chair, maybe?..oh wait, that’s just a commercial…..
They’re actually watching Guiding Light… which somebody told Joy is less fattening than, say, Days of Our Lives.
Is that stuff still on TV?They probably have it all on tape anyway…they can just repeat it every few years cos by then they can’t remember….
