The sign of a good friend, I guess – if a unicorn proves willing to destroy the universe for you…..But then, we remember Hitchhiker’s Guide: ..“There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable...There is another theory which states that this has already happened.”

I like it too Phoebe, but sometimes stopping time in the right places and speeding it up does seem worth it, boy i’m on the fence

Can’t you just destroy, like, a small bit of it? Like a part of the universe no one is going to miss?

Actually, I find it interesting that Marigold can state that so confidently. Like she KNOWS that will be the end result because somebody’s tried it before…

This of course leads me to speculate on just what unicorns can or cannot do with time.

Accelerate to the speed of light or visit the event horizon of a black hole and time will stop for you. No universal destruction needed.

“Okay, then how about making the Seahawks win the Super-Bowl?”

“Ummm, HOW long did you want time to stop for, again?”

It occurs to me that the cartoonist at least used to be Buddhist. While Buddhists have strict rules against killing, they are keen on escaping the universe.

To mangle Groucho Marx: “I will not destroy any Universe that has me as an inhabitant.”
