One group I worked for at one time would have “off-site meetings”. The meetings were held poolside. We would all gather, spend literally five minutes talking business, then it was all pool fun for the rest of the day. We all got paid for a full day! The only catch was that we had to stay until 5…like that was hard.
When family and friends went on a small vacation, the brother-in-law drove his business car with his parents, there was people who got interested in the product they sold and became business/vacation as he sold the product. We still had a great time. But learned a lesson going as a big group right after the holiday was harder as some wanted one fun place or another or they did not want to wait an hour to get into a fun place. Years later hubby and I went to same place by ourselves and had a blast.
